When it comes to her stepdaughter Lola Fae, Serene Siren is clueless on what to do. Lola used to be such a sweetheart, full of energy, and their adorable face was always smiling. However, Lola is currently irritable and exhausted, always leaving garments in disorganized heaps, and no longer seems to be interested in spending time with Serene. Serene confronts Lola about this because she's frustrated, but Lola gets upset too, and they argue. Upon eventually gaining control over her emotions, Serene understands that there must be a problem if her dear Lola is acting this way. When she asks Lola nicely whether this is about boys, she responds, "No, boys are dumb. "Having no idea how to handle her stepdaughter, Serene Siren Serene wonders whether this is about girls, picking up on the clue. That's correct, Lola admits; they have a strong attraction to women, but they have incredibly poor luck and frequently develop crushes on straight women. It's awful! Agreeing that it must be incredibly awful for Lola, Serene inquires as to whether they have ever experienced any close relationships with girls.
