However, Mrs. Murphy (Silvia Saige), the pastor's wife, claims that he isn't home at the moment. Mrs. Murphy admits that she is aware that Cindy is here to speak with the pastor about her emotions toward lesbianism as she walks with Cindy by the hand. Cindy is shocked that Mrs. Murphy learned her secret via the pastor, but Mrs. Murphy quickly ushers Cindy inside and says she just recalled she put cookies in the oven, changing the topic. After settling down in the living room with a tray of cookies, Mrs. Murphy tells Cindy that the pastor is gay and that she is a lesbian as well.Mrs. Murphy explains that she and her husband have been finding people who are unsure about their sexuality by leveraging his position, and then they 'assist' these people by having sex. This is against the teachings of the Church, says a shocked Cindy. However, Mrs. Murphy cites the Bible to support her position, asserting that God loves everyone, including the stray ones. Mrs. Murphy asserts that she can assist Cindy as well, saying that she and her spouse have been selected by God to be shepherds to those who have wandered.
