When her doorbell rings, Beth (Scarlett Mae) is alone in her house. When she opens the front door and sees Simon (Lucky Fate), a nervous-looking man, she is initially perplexed but then shocked. He begs Beth to let him in, even though she is about to shut the door in his face. Simon, who Beth hasn't seen in a long time, is revealed to be her ex after she reluctantly invites him inside and they sit down. Naturally, when Simon informs her that he has an outstanding arrest warrant and faces a lengthy prison sentence, she receives yet another shock to the system. Despite being on the run, he is prepared to turn himself in because he knows he is wrong. They've always shared a particular bond, therefore he wants to spend one last night with her before he does that. Simon's plea infuriates Beth, especially since she's moved on and is seeing someone else. But deep down, she still feels something for Simon, even in spite of her rage and how much she wishes it weren't true. Beth grows more conflicted about Simon's request the more he begs, bringing up both old and new feelings. HE may have nothing to lose, but what about HER?
