The scene opens with secretary Ashley (Bella Rolland) working silently at her desk on her laptop. She exudes professionalism and a strong work ethic. Her boss, David (Mike Mancini), appears. He exudes authority as he stands tall and confidently. Ashley smiles politely and straightens up. Her nonverbal cues suggest that she harbours affections for him in secret but chooses not to express them. There appears to be some sexual tension between Ashley and David as she fills him in on certain issues. David approaches her and is going to plant a kiss. Ashley is taken in by the moment but quickly withdraws before they even plant a kiss, clearly horrified. David makes an attempt to persuade her to have sex by drawing comparisons between the present day and the ways of the past. Ashley feels drawn to David, but she is hesitant to push David and Megan into divorce. David maintains he's simply looking for a little fun and that he won't be leaving his wife. Ashley finally says no to his efforts despite her temptation, stating that she feels bad about possibly harming Megan. David tells Ashley that the door is always open if she ever decides to change her mind and doesn't sound overly disappointed. David then gives himself an excuse to head to his workplace. Ashley is still shocked yet torn after David goes. She keeps peeking back at his office, seemingly considering whether or not to follow him. She tries to return her attention to her job, but her gaze keeps wandering to his office. PLATE TITLEA few days later, Ashley still looks fixated with David even though she feels bad that Megan might suffer harm. In order to determine what to do next, she makes the decision to learn more about Megan's personality. Ashley goes with Megan to her classroom later on that day. Ashley walks into the classroom and pretends to be a student because she thinks Megan is up to no good. Ashley tries to find information about Megan, but it appears that Megan is a decent person. Ashley follows Megan as she heads out to get a coffee before her presentation. Ashley watches Megan at the coffee shop while trying to stay hidden. She is now determined to uncover ANY negative aspect about Megan. Before Megan, a customer loses their wallet. Taken up is the wallet by Megan. Before giving the wallet back to the customer, she removes some cash from it. Ashley beams with delight. This is EXACTLY the explanation she has been searching for to advance their relationship with David. Their relationship is about to go WAY beyond a strictly professional one...
