Glasses
On Mike (Seth Gamble), the scene opens. He mopes about a bed where Nicole Sage's character, Abby, is sleeping with her eyes closed. He smoothes her bedsheet to ensure everything is clean. Her eyes flutter open while he preoccupied himself. Her head moves alone. She is obviously paralyzed from the neck down. It becomes clear from their talk that things are a little tense between them. Abby's home-care provider, Teresa (Olive Glass), answers the door at that precise moment and smiles broadly. Mike smiles back at her, but there's tension in his look, like he's trying to hide something. Abby doesn't notice, but it seems like Mike and Teresa are not speaking to each other. Saying farewell and announcing that she's going out for the day, Teresa leaves the room. After a brief apology, Mike leaves the room with Teresa in tow. Teresa is caught up by Mike. It turns out that Teresa and Mike have been having an affair, which Mike is now trying to stop. Teresa is fired by him, and he demands that she leave right away. After giving him a shocked look, she turns around and proceeds down the hallway. CUT TO TITLEMoments later, Mike hears his wife's room door open as he's in the restroom. He looks into it. Mike is startled to find Teresa hovering over Abby in the bedroom as she is now closing her eyes and snoring gently. Teresa approaches Mike and demands that they have sex now, right here. Despite his best efforts, Mike is unable to withstand Teresa's attraction. Teresa genuinely has Mike completely enthralled.
